Traxsters is a digital marketplace for beats, built by creators, for creators. We are a product of TRAXSTERS LTD, a technology company incorporated and operating under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with a mission to give talented music producers across Africa and beyond a world-class platform to share their sound, license their work, and build sustainable careers from their craft.
We believe that the next global hit is being made right now — in a bedroom studio in Lagos, a home setup in Accra, a shared space in Nairobi, or a makeshift booth in Johannesburg. Traxsters exists to make sure that Beat reaches the artist who needs it, and that the Producer who made it gets paid fairly and recognised for their talent.
At its core, Traxsters is a peer-to-peer licensing marketplace. We connect independent beatmakers and music producers (our Producers) with artists, content creators, filmmakers, and other music buyers (our Buyers) through a clean, transparent, and efficient platform. Producers upload their Beats and set their own prices. Buyers preview, license, and download. We handle the infrastructure, the payments, the paperwork, and the protection.

Our Story
Traxsters was born out of a frustration that many African producers know too well: world-class talent with nowhere credible to sell it.
For years, Nigerian and African beatmakers had to rely on Western platforms that were built without them in mind — platforms that made it difficult to receive payouts in local currency, offered little to no support for African payment methods, and provided no real community or visibility for producers working outside of major music markets.
We saw a different future. A platform rooted in the African creative economy, powered by the same technology and standards as the best international platforms, but designed from the ground up with the African producer’s reality in mind. A platform that works with local banks and mobile money providers, that understands the Afrobeats, Afropop, Amapiano, Drill, and Trap sounds shaping global music right now, and that treats African creators not as an afterthought but as the headline act.

To democratise music production commerce in Africa — empowering every producer with the tools, infrastructure, and global reach to earn a living from their art.
The African music industry is one of the fastest-growing creative sectors in the world. Afrobeats has gone from a regional sound to a global phenomenon. Amapiano is redefining dance floors on every continent. Afrodrill, Alté, and a dozen other sub-genres are finding audiences in cities from London to Seoul. Yet the producers behind these sounds — the people building the beats that move the world — remain among the least financially empowered participants in the music value chain.
Traxsters exists to change that. We are building the infrastructure that allows African producers to monetise their talent on their own terms, without gatekeepers, without geography as a limitation, and without having to give up ownership of what they create.

TRAXSTERS LTD operates in full compliance with applicable Nigerian law, including but not limited to the Nigerian Copyright Act (Cap C28, LFN 2004), the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, and the regulations of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). We are committed to intellectual property protection, data privacy, and ethical business conduct across all aspects of Platform operations.

TRAXSTERS LTD is not a record label, a publishing company, or a performing rights organisation. We do not own or administer the music on our Platform. We are a marketplace. Producers own their music. Buyers license it. We make that transaction possible.
